As a leading Scottish wedding caterer, Saltire Hospitality have the honour of working with so many couples on their special day, we are immensely proud of our expertise in wedding catering and it's our eye for detail that gives us the ability to make sure each couple has a truly unique experience. As a family owned company we believe it's the personal touches that matters most - you can therefore be assured we will go above and beyond to provide a deeply personal service, while adding the individual, creative and bespoke touches to make your day exactly what you have always dreamed of. 

It's clear to say we have a love affair with food. we believe every mouthful matters! we are proud to serve only the best produce from our locally sourced and ethical Scottish suppliers. it's essential to us that we know exactly where our food is coming from and by whom. only then can we be certain that we are serving only the best food and drink to you and your guests. our ethos is to make as much fresh food as we possibly can from scratch, and with our very own bakery and patisserie, we guarantee every element of your menu will be made with passion and care. we also ensure any guests with specific dietary requirements or any particular preferences are well taken care off.

We love to create a unique experience for each couple, simply tell us your ideas and we'll take care of the rest! is there a style of food or perhaps a theme you have in mind? whether you are looking for a sit down three course meal, sharing boards, a buffet or BBQ style or even grazing stations - the options are endless! from the scrumptious canapes to the late night feasts - every element will be designed to suit your very own requirements.

"We had been recommended Saltire Hospitality for a large wedding venue before lockdown"

Once the pandemic hit everything stopped and the large venue had to cancel us. We still wanted to go ahead with our October date but thought a reception would not be possible. Kate at Saltire was amazing. Once full lockdown had eased, she recommended Cockenzie House, which Saltire run, and they had set up for social distancing. We were unsure about traveling out of the centre of Edinburgh and getting everyone there safely. Kate sourced a vintage route master bus company for us that had a fully risk assessed special wedding transport. Then, when the pandemic started picking up again, we wanted to bring the date forward by two weeks. Kate was so flexible. She was following the Scottish Government updates with bated breath even as we were. We got the green light for a 20 person wedding. Everything was on the day we wanted and was perfect. The room was dressed beautifully. The menu was sorted. Social distancing was managed. We did not have to lift a finger. I’ve told Kate that she has made our wedding happen. We had the perfect day with everything we could want for an intimate wedding with no details left out. What was so lovely is the feeling that Kate and Saltire really cared about us and finding us our solution. We can’t thank her and everyone at Saltire enough.
