Òran Mór is a truly unique and iconic Scottish venue with an enviable location, opposite the Botanic Gardens in the heart of Glasgow’s West End.

Formerly Kelvinside Parish Church (founded in 1862), we seamlessly blend the awe-inspiring traditional church features with contemporary additions, such as our celestial ceiling mural by acclaimed Scottish artist and author Alasdair Gray.

Flooded with natural light and original stained glass windows, we are the perfect choice for a unique and unforgettable day!

From small and intimate ceremonies in our Gallery to unforgettable larger ceremonies and dinners in our stunning Auditorium, we can create the perfect setting for your big day.

Our Wedding Coordinator will guide you through all the planning and we will create the perfect package for you.

What an incredible day we had!

We just got married on the 10.07.21 and what an incredible day we had! Pre Covid when we went to see the venue we knew it was for us straight away from how beautiful it is but also Pauline the coordinator was absolutely amazing from word go. Obviously we then had lots of uncertainty and changed our date from April to July, Pauline couldn’t have been more helpful that whole time and nothing was too much for her to do! That can also be said for the entire staff at the Oran Mor, our day went perfectly and all our family and friends raved about the food,staff and atmosphere! We couldn’t recommend using the Oran Mor enough they helped create the best day of our lives ! And we will forever be grateful. ❤️

We got married at Oran Mor on Sunday the 7th March 2021 during lockdown. We cannot thank Pauline enough! With the forever changing circumstances Pauline was there to help us plan our perfect little day. We can’t wait to gather all our friends and family for a proper celebration back at Oran Mor when it’s safe for us all to do so. Stunning venue! With so many incredible backdrops for photos. Pauline - what a legend. ❤️ Our wedding on Saturday was amazing and it’s mainly down to Pauline. It was everything we dreamed of and more. Nothing was too much trouble and she took everything in her stride. We want to do it again!!
