What Scottish wedding is complete without the bagpipes?
Having a piper play the bagpipes at your wedding, is about as romantically Scottish a tradition you can get.
Not only is it thought to bring good luck and protection to a couple, by scaring off evil spirits but you will also delight your guests with its spine-tingling sound.
You would typically ask your piper to play the bagpipes to greet your guests to the wedding ceremony, to bring the bride from the wedding car to the ceremony, the newlyweds to the car after the ceremony (in the case of a different venue for the reception and meal) and then to bring the couple to the top table for the meal.
(Of course you can agree more than this to suit your plans).
With almost 20 years of experience of playing the bagpipes, I aim to make your Scottish Wedding, even more Scottish and even more Special.
Please get in touch by sending an enquiry, using the form above, to discuss your plans for your big day and I look forward to hearing from you.
