The Gathering is a truly unique barn wedding venue. Styled in true Scottish clan fashion, we welcome you and your guests to come and embrace the traditional decor, warm atmosphere and rustic setting.  

Set on a beautiful rolling field just 15 minutes from Glasgow, The Gathering is ideal for your unique barn wedding. With most aspects already taken care of, the only things for you to arrange is catering, entertainment and a celebrant or registrar. 

A dedicated team is on hand to help you plan your wedding from start to finish to ensure it all runs smoothly. There are many extras available from quirky photo props to bell tents and loads more! Just get in touch to find out more. 

An Authentic 17th Century Scottish themed Barn
There isn’t another wedding venue in Scotland quite like The Gathering! This medieval inspired space has been designed to be as authentic to ancient Scottish traditions as possible, and yet, be flexible around your wedding style.
The Gathering is a beautifully finished wooden barn, filled with long tables, a cosy fire and hearty laughter. It’s ideal for Outlander or Game of Thrones-themed, boho, and re-enactment weddings. Have a specific theme or idea for your special day? Let us help make your dream wedding a reality.

Absolutely love this venue! As soon as I visited I knew this was the perfect venue for our wedding. Jo & Steve are amazing hosts & so friendly, made planning everything so much easier & they dealt with all the set up for the day. Venue looked amazing on the day, all our guests complimented on how fab the venue was. It was very us! We loved our wedding, it was exactly what we wanted & bonus was the weather was great so we got to make use of the amazing outside space that the venue also offers. Wouldn’t change a thing about our day, would love to do it all again ???? Thank you Jo & Steve for everything

My first time here at this venue to conduct an outdoor ceremony. Spectacular! Steve & Jo both so welcoming and amazing hosts. I love this venue with all its little Scottish & Rustic Quirks. Fabulous both indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend! A must view for Weddings & Special Occasions

Such a fantastic venue! I went to a beautiful wedding here, the owners Steve and Jo went above and beyond to just create a sublime unique experience for my brother in laws wedding! I was blown away from how well kept it is, and it really is a diamond in the rough, as soon as you walk in and see the interior it just sells itself! Seriously though: - Quaint Pods to sleep in. - Kitchen and Bar area - Large Dance floor and beautiful food hall - Outdoor seating and numerous decking areas. - Beautiful landscape and location for pictures, videos and events! - So much creative flexibility with the owners to really ensure that it really is your own! Photos do not do it any justice! You really need to visit this venue to really feel the beauty and authenticity of this idyllic venue! You will not regret it! You're welcome!
