Overview
The Duke of Rothesay Pavilion was opened in 2018 by Her Majesty The Queen, Patron of the Braemar Royal Highland Society. It houses an exhibition of the history of the Games and offers a wonderful event space and cafe with state-of-the-art facilities including a brand new kitchen and disabled toilets. The Pavillion is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
Steeped in history and immersed in the Cairngorms National Park the venue also offers an incredible outdoor setting for your ceremony, photographs and activities to entertain your guests.
The Pavilion can host up to 90 people for an indoor ceremony, wedding reception, and after-dinner ceilidh.
With regards to accommodation for your guests, the award-winning, first-class Fife Arms Hotel is just down the road. In addition to that, there are several self-catering cottages and a couple of lovely Bed and Breakfast options.
If you prefer a church ceremony, Crathie Kirk made famous by Queen Victoria and regularly attended by HM The Queen when in residence at Balmoral is just 10 minutes away.
